Diaz Digital Discoveries
When you look through Diaz Digital Discoveries wedding photos, you’ll see an incredible talent for capturing the most unexpected and spontaneous moments. You’ll also see the sheer joy of the wedding party and their guests, but what will really take your breath away is Ed Diaz’s ability to capture, so beautifully, the sweet intimacies between a couple - a look, a gesture, a kiss.
Just how does he do it? Ed told us, “At Diaz Digital Discoveries, we listen closely to our client’s needs for their wedding and do everything we can to make that dream happen. We ask couples, ‘What’s your love story?’ We want to know everything we can, so we can capture that in their photos.” Diaz Digital Discoveries most popular package is the Photo/Video combo. “Our wedding films are a beautiful storytelling presentation, with the look of a Hollywood film, that captures the story of your wedding day in milestones. My videographer, Keli, creates beautiful wedding films that all our clients rave about.”
Ed Diaz has been taking engagement and wedding photos since 2001 and his experience shows. How is it that his weddings have such an original and unique look to them? He told us, “It’s easy enough to follow a ‘shot list,’ but I want to give my couples something completely unique, special and different from what everyone else has, as well. At one of my favorite weddings, because the bride and groom weren't afraid to step out of their comfort zone, I was able to give them not only what they were looking for, but so much more.”
Diaz Digital Discoveries is a boutique business that is in demand but determined to stay small so they can provide the most personalized and professional service for all their clients. “Our biggest compliment is that our clients book us for their engagement photos, then their wedding. A few years later, we are also invited to photograph their pregnancies and then their beautiful babies.”
We had to ask Ed, what advice would he give a couple looking for a photographer/videographer. Ed told us, “Follow your heart! Try not to get all wrapped up in the numbers game, with how many hours/how many photos, etc. Instead, meet with your photographer/videographer. Find out about their style and if you love their work and you both click: choose them. You will ultimately be happier, and your photos will show it.”
