How to create an Up-Do

Credit : I DO on-site hair and face

Warm spring days and hot summer nights often call for sweeping your hair off your shoulders to keep cool. Pony tails are great, but for a night out, engagement party or rehearsal dinner, what is a gal to do? We went to I DO on-site hair and face for tips to keep it simple, yet elegant!

READY: prep your hair ~

1. Shampoo your hair with a deep cleansing shampoo and lightly condition. Try Kevin Murphy's Maxi Wash and Angle Rinse.
2. Towel dry and comb through a body building mouse. We love Davines Body Building Mousse.
3. Blow dry your hair away from your face on medium heat with a paddle brush.
4. Comb through a working spray throughout your hair, we recommend Elnet.
5. Wrap your hair in 1 inch sections around hot rollers and let set for 20 minutes.
6. Remove the rollers and gently comb through your hair with a wide tooth comb allowing your hair to fall in a natural part.

STYLE: choose a style ~

At this point you have many options for styling your hair. Here are a few of our favorites:
