Finding the right photographer for your wedding should be a
high priority. You'll be spending countless hours planning
and creating your dream wedding - you want to be sure you
have the photos to look back on in years to come. We've got
tips on finding the right photographer and what to ask
when interviewing photographers.

| Selecting
a Photographer |
|
|
|
An experienced photographer should be selected.
Ask friends for recommendations and take a look at their
wedding albums to get a sense of what you like or
dislike about their wedding photography style. |
|
|
|
When meeting with a wedding photographer, take the time
to review their photography work and make sure you are
reviewing the work of the photographer that would actually
be at your wedding. Check the compositions and sharpness of
the pictures. Are these pictures what you'd like to see in
your own wedding album? |

I've decided to hire a wedding consultant. What is a
fair price to pay? |
|
|
|
If you are hiring a wedding consultant to plan your
whole wedding, expect to pay between 10 to 15 percent of
your total budget. For example, if your wedding costs
are $20,000, expect to pay anywhere from $2,000 -
$3,000. Definitely shop around for price. Most
importantly, be sure that you have a great rapport with
the consultant. You want someone who is going to work
with you to create the wedding of your dreams. |
