A Massachusetts wedding consultant can be of great help to you.  You may think that hiring a wedding consultant is expensive.  But you will be surprised at just how little it costs and how much time they will save you.

You don't have to have a wedding consultant plan your whole wedding.  They can plan just the tasks you think will be difficult to plan from another state (such as a reception site).  If you need a consultant to plan your whole wedding, expect to pay 10 to 15 percent of your total budget.  For example, if your wedding budget is $20,000, expect to pay anywhere from $2,000 to $3,000.

You can also ask a friend or relative who lives in the area for their help. You'll have to trust their instincts!  This is a lot to ask of a person so you must let them know what they are getting involved with.

Be prepared to make at least one visit back to Massachusetts to meet with your wedding vendors.
