Ten Golden Rules
by Magdalena Andreozzi, The Event Diva
Discuss your vision - dare to dream, big, small, formal, casual, romantic, talk to your fiance and don't listen too intently to everyone else.
Establish a budget - create three lists and abide by them:
   a) Wish List
   b) Must-haves
   c) Friends/Family considerations.

Get it in writing - contracts are a bride's best friend Follow-up all conversations in writing and be sure to get a confirmation back.
Pay with plastic - if anything goes wrong you may not be held responsible for your costs incurred.
Hook up with other brides - attend Bridal Events and talk yourself silly about everything wedding. It reduces stress and your friends will adore you.
Consider bringing in an expert - your pro can tell you what's in and what's not, get you discounts, save you time, money and most of all reduce your stress.
Negotiate - can you get a better rate from a vender? Just ask, you may be surprised.
Consider your guests - don't leave a huge gap between your ceremony and reception, ideally no more then a 20 minute drive.
Your invitations are a reflection of the two of you - it sets the tone for the entire event, be creative, have fun and frame it so it lasts forever.
Take care of yourselves - set a date for a coed candlelight massage or a relaxing pedicure. Romp in the woods with the pooch, sleep well, and breathe deeply. Just remember... The best is yet to come!
