When planning your Massachusetts wedding reception, keep in mind that your wedding reception and catering will account for approximately half your wedding budget. Location of venue and taste of the food should be carefully considered. Find Massachusetts wedding venue locations that match your personality. If you two are ski lovers or nature lovers, opt for a wedding North of Boston; beach days and barbeques more your style? Consider South of Boston or Cape Cod.

Decor and interior style are also very important. Decor, such as linens and lighting, to transform the interior can be an added expense - sometimes minimal, sometimes lavish depending on your venue and your tastes! Be sure to ask if your reception site can provide these additional services or if you may hire an outside wedding professional. Decor can dazzle your guests all while showcasing your couple style. Remember, too, that wedding flowers can also make a show-stopping impact! Try to visit the wedding venues when they are decorated and set up for a wedding to help envision your wedding day. Visiting a venue in it's bare state may turn you away (think: bare back chairs, plain white linens). When decorated with colorful table linens and chair covers, elegant place settings, lush floral centerpieces, romantic lighting - well, it can make all the difference and turn the venue into an inspirational MA wedding reception!
