Deep reds and soft pinks are great colors for a Valentine's Day wedding. Consider color scheme of white, ivory or black with the red or pink accent as to not 'over do' the boldness of red. Here are a few suggestions when planning a Valentine's Day wedding:
- Hearts: heart confetti for table sprinkles; boxes of conversational hearts as wedding favors; linked hearts for programs or invitations; heart-themed favors; heart picks for groom's boutonniere or sprinkled in bridesmaids' bouquets.
- Flowers: red roses are always a great choice, but be careful as they can be quite costly this time of year; lilies, gerber daisies, tulips, dahlias, chrysanthemums are other great choices; sprinkle the ceremony aisle or tables with red or pink petals.
- Color: choose red or pink hues for bridesmaids and flowergirls; chair sashes and table linens; lanterns streamers.
